IISER 2025 Counselling Registration Begins; Know How to Fill Preference Form

IISER 2025 Counselling Registration started by the exam officials today, June 26, 2025 from 5 pm onwards. Candidates are required to make a preference list from among these programs for which the candidate wants to be considered for admission. IISER 2025 Counselling Registration

IISER 2025 counselling registration for admissions to the BS-MS/BS/Btech degree programmes offered at IISERs started today, June 26, 2025 at 5 pm. Interested candidates who have secured a AIR rank or Category rank will be able to fill out the online IISER 2025 counselling registration form by logging to their registered accounts. The last date for filling the IISER counselling 2025 registration form will be July 3, 2025. 

The online Application (Preference) Form allows the candidates to choose from 11 academic programmes across 7 IISERs from the drop-down menu. For 5-year BS-MS (Dual Degree) programs at all IISERs Mathematics in class XII (or equivalent) is not mandatory. For admissions to the following programs, candidates MUST HAVE MATHEMATICS during their Class XII (or equivalent): 5-year BS-MS in Computational and Data Sciences at IISER Kolkata, 4-year B. Tech. at IISER Bhopal, 4-year BS in Economic Sciences at IISER Bhopal and 4-year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences at IISER Tirupati.

How to Fill IISER 2025 Preference Form

Candidate is required to make a preference list from among these programs for which the candidate wants to be considered for admission:

• The preference order must be from the most preferred (first preference) to the least preferred.
• Candidate must provide a minimum of 1 preference and may fill in a maximum of 11 preferences to complete this form.
• Candidate will be considered ONLY to those IISER academic programmes which are in the candidate's preference list. Consequently, the candidate will not be considered for admission to an IISER academic programme that is not mentioned in the candidate's preference list.
• Please fill up the form with utmost care, applying due diligence as candidate will not be allowed to change the preference(s) after 5 PM on July 03, 2025.
• No other information including the category information (General, GEN-EWS, OBC, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, KM) can be changed in the Application Portal.
• Candidates are not entitled to receive any intimation/information regarding mistakes made by the candidates in the Preference Form or any missing information.
