IIT JAM 2022 Application Form for Admission Process Released; Apply by May 11

IIT JAM 2022 Admission Process Begins

IIT Roorkee has released the application form for the IIT JAM 2022 admission process. The last date of application is May 11. Although originally the application process was scheduled to commence on April 11, the IIT JAM 2022 admission or counselling authority released the application form two days in advance, on April 9. Candidates who have qualified for the IIT JAM 2022 exam by securing the cutoff marks and rank will have to apply within the deadline.

How to Apply for IIT JAM 2022

Qualifying candidates will have to follow the steps given below to complete the application process:

• Visit the IIT JAM official website or directly visit https://joaps.iitr.ac.in/

• Click on the ‘Student Portal’ tab or the link indicating the admission form

• Enter Enrolment ID/Email ID and password (generated during initial application)

• Click on Submit

• Fill up the form with the mandatory details and pay the requisite fee

• Click on submit and take a printout of the application confirmation form

The application fee for admission is INR 600 for candidates of any category. The fee must be paid online only using credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI. Challan payment is not accepted. The fee is non-refundable. Seat Booking Fee also must be paid ONLINE only using credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI. Challan payment is not accepted.

Change of Candidate Category

IIT Roorkee has also notified candidates that those who want to change their categories need to do it within the admission process application form filling schedule by uploading the requisite category certificate. In the absence of category certificate, application will be considered under General category.

IIT JAM 2022 was conducted on February 13 and the result was declared on March 17. Admission to 21 IITs is conducted for the admission to MSc courses. Apart from that, MSc and Integrated PhD admission at NITs, GFTIs and IISc Bangalore also take place through IIT JAM scores.
