20 PG courses will now consider CUET-PG scores include MBA, MCA (Software Engineering), Master of Arts in Mass Communication (MAMC), etc.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), commonly known as IP University, has announced that it will accept CUET-PG 2025 scores for admission to 20 of its postgraduate programmes starting from academic session 2025–26.
As per official notification, candidates will be able to apply for these CUET-PG-based programmes from July 15, 2025. Varsity has clarified that these seats will be filled after exhausting merit lists of national-level entrance tests like CAT, NIMCET, CMAT and university’s own CET exams. A non-refundable counselling fee of ₹2,500 must be paid at time of registration. Applicants will also have to upload their CUET-PG scorecard, graduation certificate or provisional proof (Attachment 4), and other category-based certificates such as for EWS, SC/ST/OBC, Defence or PwD, depending on eligibility.
20 PG courses that will now consider CUET-PG scores include MBA, MCA (Software Engineering), Master of Arts in Mass Communication (MAMC), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT in Musculoskeletal/Neurology/Sports/Cardiopulmonary), MSc in Environment Management, LLM, MA in English, MEd, MTech in Computer Science and Environmental Genomics, MA in Economics, Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Geoinformatics, MSc Yoga, MSc in Medicinal Chemistry & Drug Design, MSc in Bioinformatics, MSc in Molecular Diagnostics, MSc in Microbiology, MS in Packaging Technology, BEd, and BEd in Special Education. These programmes span different disciplines including management, science, law, education, and interdisciplinary studies.
IP University currently offers more than 40,000 seats across undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes through its main campus and affiliated colleges. In previous academic year, university added 1,600 seats across various courses, and for 2025-26, another 250 seats have been added to meet increasing demand. Among the new and continuing seat categories, IPU has retained special provisions such as one supernumerary seat in each programme for orphans (with a full fee waiver under the EWS category) and one for a single girl child per family. Additionally, up to 2% seats in each programme are reserved under the sports quota.
The university’s admission window for 2025 began on February 1, with IPU CET exams held between April 26 and May 18. For CUET-based PG admissions, application window will open on July 15, followed by online counselling, document and seat allotment. Academic classes for new session are expected to commence by mid-August.
