National Council of Educational and Research Training (NCERT) has released the NTSE stage 2 result 2019 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for NTSE stage 2 exam on June 16, 2019, can check their result by clicking on the link below. Earlier, the council declared the NTSE stage 2 provisional result. The final result has been released category-wise in the form of a merit list.

This year, the number of NTSE scholarships have been increased from 1000 to 2000 and a total of 2103 students have cleared the stage 2 exam and are entitled to the scholarship. The links to check the NRSE stage 2 result 2019 have been provided below-

Selection to the final merit list includes clearing the state level exam and the national level exam. Both the exams include mental ability test and scholastic aptitude test. There is no negative marking followed.

Candidates who qualify for the NTSE scholarship will be awarded an amount of Rs 1250 per month at the higher secondary level. For graduate and postgraduate students, the scholarship amount is Rs 2000 per month. At the PhD level, candidates will be paid as per UGC norms.

Meanwhile, NCERT has announced the exam dates for NTSE 2020. While the state level exams will be held on November 2, 3 and 27, 2019 for different states and UTs, the national level exam will be held on May 10, 2020. The NTSE application forms 2020 have been released by all states and UTs and interested candidates need to submit the completely filled application form before the last date.
