SSC JE Detailed Option Form Released

SSC JE option form 2022 for the candidates were released on March 22. The eligible candidates are required to fill their service preference in the form and submit it at the time of service allocation. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineer (JE) exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the post of Junior Engineers in Central Government Departments.

How to fill SSC JE Detailed Option Form

The candidates are required to arrange all the services in their preferred order of A to L because there are 12 services given in the Detailed Option form. The preference given by the candidates in this form will be considered as their final choice of services. SSC makes the final allocation of posts under Merit-cum-Preference of the candidate and once a post is allotted, no change is made by the Commission for any reason.

The Junior Engineer (Civil) in Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Post Code A, is reserved for male candidates only. The candidates are required to fulfil certain medical standards to get selected for this post. These medical conditions were mentioned in the official SSC JE notification. Candidates need to provide the preferences, but they will be considered for only those posts for which they are eligible. The eligibility will be decided by the SSC officers present at the time of counselling and service allocation.

SSC has written a special condition for the candidates opting for the JE Civil post in BRO. The candidate is selected for this post and fails the medical test and subsequently fails the medical test. He will not be considered for any other post.

SSC also provided an option to strike off the above-given condition if it does not apply to the candidates. SSC JE result was announced on February 25. The candidates will be required to get the printout of this option form and take it with them at the time of document verification.
