Chitkara University Amplify Leadership Series Concludes, Next Edition Set for June 2026

Chitkara University has concluded the first edition of its Amplify Leadership Series, a three-day faculty development programme. The event brought together nearly 300 educators from India and Kuwait. Such initiatives highlight the growing focus on better teaching, AI learning and career readiness.

Chitkara University has successfully concluded the first edition of the Amplify Leadership Series, a residential faculty development programme for school and college educators. The programme was held at the Chitkara University campus in Punjab. It was based on the theme, “Empowering Educators for a Changing World.” Nearly 300 faculty members, principals and academic leaders attended the three-day event. Participants came from different parts of India. Some delegates also travelled from Kuwait.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder of Chitkara University, said the programme was created to give educators a space for their own learning, leadership growth and new ideas.

Focus on AI, Leadership and Student Career Readiness

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University. He spoke about need for continuous learning and adaptive leadership in higher education.

This programme included six masterclasses under three major themes:

• Leadership and Emerging Technologies
• Communication and Collaboration Excellence
• Life Skills and Student Career Readiness

Sessions discussed the use of artificial intelligence in education, ethical concerns linked to AI, team management, communication skills and student employability. Educators also discussed ways to prepare students for entrepreneurship and future careers.

Campus Activities and Cultural Events

Along with academic sessions, delegates took part in a Campus Odyssey, Sports Mania and a Heritage Fashion Show. The programme also included an entertainment session by comedian Rajiv Thakur. 

Student volunteers supported the delegates during the event. Many participants appreciated the university’s hospitality, campus facilities and academic environment.

Next Amplify Leadership Series Dates Announced

The programme ended with a valedictory session and certificate distribution. Chitkara University has announced that the next edition of the Amplify Leadership Series will be held from June 26 to June 28, 2026.

The university expects around 350 educators to attend the next edition.
