How to Generate APAAR ID for MAH BEd CET Registration?
Recently, the state Common Entrance Test Cell has mandated the Aadhar Card and APAAR ID for MAH BEd CET registrations. The online MAH BEd application forms can commence anytime soon and to fill the form, this piece includes how the applicant can generate their APAAR ID.
MAH BEd CET Application Form: The candidates are anticipating the release of the MAH BEd CET registration form since the end of December. The delay is said to be due to the website creation. Anyway, with the commencement of BPEd and MEd registration, it can begin for the BEd course in the upcoming days. Based on the announcement, candidates would require both Aadhar and APAAR ID during the registration process (as shown in image below).

How to Generate APAAR ID?
Candidates can generate their ID by both
(i) DigiLocker
- Browse to https://www.digilocker.gov.in/ or digi app.
- Login using number and OTP/PIN. Sign up if you're new.
- In the "Issued Documents" section, search for "APAAR ID" or "Academic Bank of Credits".
- Click the APAAR ID option, and fill in details like your name, DOB, gender, and an "identity value" (like your Class 12 roll number), and consent to share info.
- Click "Get Document" to generate your ID, then download the PDF from your issued documents.
(ii) ABC Portal
- Go to www.abc.gov.in.
- Click "My Account" and select "Student".
- Sign in via DigiLocker.
- Enter details and get your ID.
How do students get their APAAR ID?
Students need to follow these steps:
- Verification: Visit the school to verify demographic details
- Parental Consent: Obtain parental consent if the student is a minor
- Authentication: Authenticate identity through the school
- ID Creation: Upon successful verification, the APAAR ID is created and added to DigiLocker for secure online access.
The status of APAAR ID generation can also be checked in the UDISE+ Portal under the APAAR Module, which displays a list of students along with their APAAR ID statuses. Students may request their school authority to check the status of their APAAR ID creation. All candidates are advised to visit @https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ for further instructions.
The last date for MAH BEd CET 2026 is announced at the official website. The registration last date for BEd is January 23, 2026. Candidates are advised to stay tuned with the official website as well as Shiksha.com.
The last date hasn't been announced yet. It is expected to be in February 2026 to apply for the MAH BEd CET exam.
