IGNOU 2021 Application deadline extended: Check How to Register Online

IGNOU B.Ed 2021: The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the application form filling process for IGNOU B.Ed 2021. Those who have not completed the registration can apply at ignou.ac.in, before March 25. Earlier, the last date to apply for the entrance exam was March 20.

IGNOU B.Ed 2021 is scheduled for April 11 in online mode. The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions format). The duration of the paper will be of 120 minutes (2-hour). Highlights of IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility:

• There is no upper or lower age limit criteria specified by the authority to apply for the exam
• Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme

• IGNOU B.Ed offers 5% relaxation in marks to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD candidates only as per the rules of the Central Govt.

• Reservation to Kashmiri Migrants and war widow candidates is also provided.

• Trained in-service teachers in elementary education are also eligible to apply for IGNOU BEd

How to apply for IGNOU B.Ed 2021?

Given below are the steps to register for the entrance exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the "REGISTER YOURSELF" option that appears in the applicant login area

Step 3: Enter the required registration credentials and Submit

Step 4: Login with the generated username and password

Step 5: Fill in the details as required for the entrance exam

Step 6: Upload the scanned copies of photograph and signatures in specified formats

Step 7: Pay the IGNOU Application Fee, Submit and download the confirmation Page

Note: IGNOU B.Ed 2021 application fee is Rs 1000 and can be paid online via Credit card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
