JKBOPEE Special Round of Counselling Date Out!

Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination has announced the date for the special round of counselling for the BEd course. Candidates are requested to report to the J&K BOPEE office on October 10 between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
After the second mop-up round counselling, seats arenβt filled for the BEd course. For these shortfall seats, the board has announced a special round of counselling on October 10. The interested candidates must report to the J&K BOPEE office between 09:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
Candidates from ranks 1 to 400 can report to the location from all categories, including the reserved. The candidates are advised to bring along all the original documents/certificates, including Domicile Certificate / Qualifying Marks card /Category Certificate, if any, issued by the Competent Authority, which shall be presented by them at the time of Counselling for scrutiny and verification by the Board.
Who will be Eligible?
The following candidates shall be eligible to participate in the Special Round of offline Counselling:
- Candidates who did not get any seat in the first round/2nd / Mop-up round.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat during any of the previous rounds and have joined the College/Institute.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat during any of the Previous rounds but could not join due to any of the reasons like deficient/invalid documents, non-submission of fee, non-reporting for admission, etc.
- Candidates who have resigned from the allotted seat of previous Rounds at the College/Institution.
- The eligible candidates who have appeared in the BEd Entrance Test 2025 and have not participated in any of the previous rounds of Counselling are also eligible for this round of counselling. They must deposit the counselling fee of Rs. 1000/- online and fill in the preferences for the Special Round of Counselling. vi. The candidates who have paid the counselling fee during the 1st or 2nd / Mop-up Round are not required to pay any fees during this round of counselling.

The Seat Matrix for the said courses will be available on the official website of the Board one day before the start of counselling. Mere filling up of preferences shall not confer any right of admission to any candidate unless and until their eligibility is verified by the concerned colleges/institutions, if provisionally selected.
Note: Further, if any candidate cannot participate personally in the counselling on the designated day & date of Counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, he/she can authorise his/her close family member who falls in his/her blood relation on the devised format of the Board to participate in the counselling on behalf of the concerned candidate. The authorised person has to submit the authorisation letter along with his/her Identity Card and Aadhar Card during the process of counselling; otherwise, he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling on their own risk and responsibility.
