Rajasthan PTET 2025 has officially begun upward movement for candidates who completed physical reporting after the Round 1 seat allotment. Only candidates who reported in person to their allotted college between July 25 and July 29 are eligible for the Upward Movement process.

No extra fees will be charged by the PTET Office, previously allotted college, or newly allotted college during upward movement. The process is completely free.
What is Upward Movement in PTET?
The Rajasthan PTET 2025 Upward Movement is an internal upgrade mechanism for students who wish to get a better college based on their rank and preferences after reporting to the first allotted college. It ensures deserving candidates don’t miss out on better opportunities due to availability and dynamic seat shifts.
Who Can Apply for Upward Movement?
Candidates who:
- Were allotted a college in the Rajasthan PTET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment
- Paid the ₹22,000 admission fee
- Physically reported to the allotted college before the deadline (July 29, 2025)
Candidates who did not report physically to the allotted college cannot apply for upward movement. To apply for upward movement,
- Visit the official website.
- Click on "Apply for Upward Movement".
- Enter the login credentials (Counselling ID, Roll Number, Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, and Date of Birth).
- Choose your Rajasthan PTET 2025 college preferences and lock them.

How to Check Upward Movement PTET 2025 Result (August 6, 2025)
Once the result is out:
- Visit the official website: @https://ptetvmoukota2025.in/pTet2025/hSPteTMaiPage.php
- Click on the link for "Upward Movement Result"
- Enter your Roll Number, Counselling ID, and DOB
- Download your updated allotment letter (if changed)
- Report to the new college between August 6 to August 8, 2025
About Rajasthan PTET 2025
The Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) is conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota. It offers:
- 2-year BEd program – approx. 10 lakh seats
- 4-year BA BEd/BSc BEd integrated program – approx. 44,000 seats
- Candidates opting for Upward Movement must stay alert for the August 6 result. If allotted a new college, make sure to report physically between August 6 and August 8 with all original documents.
- No fee required for Upward Movement

Candidates can also visit the Rajasthan PTET 2025 correction panel to make the changes(Name, Father's Name, and Mother's Name). They had to pay INR 500 via online/e-Mitra to make the preferred changes. Use Form number, mother's name, and date of birth to login. The correction window will remain open from August 2 until August 4, 2025.
