Telangana Government colleges introduce AI, ML courses at UG, PG levels, check details
Autonomous government degree colleges in Telangana are all set to offer BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. 11 autonomous government degree colleges will now offer AI and ML courses both at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Until now, it was only engineering colleges in the state who were offering these courses. As per the reports, 60 seats will be offered in the listed colleges for AI and ML courses and admissions will be done through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST).
The AI and ML course curriculum has been designed and developed by the colleges in their respective boards of Studies as they have autonomous status. Apart from AI and ML, these colleges are also introducing other courses like BSc in Gaming, BSc in Animation, BBA in Retailing, BSc in Graphic Design & Digital Advertising, BA in Content & Creative Writing, BCom E-Com Operations, BA in Performing Arts, BBA in Logistics, BCom in Agri Storage and Supply Chain. All these new courses are categorised as Apprentice Embedded Degree courses.
Candidates must note that for all these courses, the internship is mandatory. The internships have also been included as part of the course curriculum as per the suggestions made by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Meanwhile, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the TS DOST 2022 official notification for admission into various undergraduate courses in six universities in Telangana. As per the official notification, DOST registration 2022 for phase 1 will begin today; i.e. July 1. All those candidates who are interested and wish to apply can do so on or before July 30. Candidates can also apply online for phase 1 from July 6 to 30.
