Telangana Govt to set up recruitment board to fill teaching posts in state universities
The Telangana government has announced that it has decided to set up a recruitment board to fill up professors' posts in all the varsities across the state. Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy attended a meeting held in Pragati Bhavan to brief Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao about the vacancies in the varsities.
The Chief Minister ordered setting up the recruitment board for the appointment of professors while the non-teaching staff shall be appointed through Telangana Public Service Commission. In 2017, the state's finance ministry had given approval for the appointment of 1,062 professors, assistants and associate professors in Telangana Universities.
But there were some issues regarding the reservation rule in the wake of the Allahabad High Court judgment.
As per the estimate, there are 2020 posts vacant in the universities including Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Telangana University, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education said that it will be announcing the TS Inter results 2022 on June 25, 2022, it will not be declared today. An official from the TSBIE Board told the media that the TS Intermediate results 2022 Manabadi will be out on Saturday, June 25. The official said, "Students will get their 1st year, 2nd year results by Saturday, June 25."
Earlier, local media reports claimed that the TS Inter 1st year results 2022 and TS Inter 2nd year results 2022 would be announced on June 23, 2022.
