TS DOST 2020: Telangana college admission process postponed for 15 days

According to a notice published on the official Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) website, the phase I registration process has been postponed for 15 days.

TS DOST 2020 admission registration postponed! The Telangana degree admission, which was scheduled to begin today i.e. July 14, is now postponed. According to a notice published on the official Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) website, the phase I registration process has been postponed for 15 days. The reason for the postponement is cited as COVID-19 pandemic. An updated schedule for TS DOST 2020 will be announced soon.

A short notice published on the DOST website reads, "DOST - 2020 Phase-I registrations and web options are postponed for 15 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The updated schedule will be announced later.

Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) serves an online facility for centralized admission to degree colleges affiliated with six different Universities in Telangana. These Universities include Mahatma Gandhi University, Kakatiya University, Osmania University, Satvahana University, Palamuru University, and Telangana University.

Students after clearing the TS Inter Exams 2020 are considered eligible to apply for the TS DOST 2020. In order to register, candidates are required to enter the TS Inter hall ticket 2020 number in the registration link. 

It is mandatory for students to provide their Aadhaar number for admission in DOST. To register for DOST, a student must seed their mobile number with Aadhaar, update name, gender and date of birth as per SSC/Intermediate certificate in Aadhaar in advance.

In order to register, students need to follow these steps

• Register for DOST ID online
• Pay registration fee
• Fill the application form
• Exercise web options.

 According to the schedule announced earlier, the entire admission process was to conclude by August 24, 2020. The academic session is expected to commence from September 1.
