UPSC IAS 2021 Detailed Application Form (DAF) was released on November 22. The IAS Main 2021 Exam will start on January 7, 2022. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release IAS main 2021 timetable with the e-admit card. The candidates should download the instruction sheet and the IAS DAF 2021 notification to read and understand the process fully. After reading the official Gazette and instruction sheet, they should fill the IAS 2021 DAF online.
UPSC released the DAF link with the notification. The DAF will be available till December 1 2021 (06.00 PM). The candidates will get 13 days to fill the DAF online. UPSC notified 24 exam centres for the UPSC Main exam 2021. The UPSC main exam is a descriptive exam where the candidates need to write the answers in the answer booklet provided by the Commission.
The candidates can change the IAS main exam centres during the submission of the DAF. UPSC released an official notice on November 17. The candidates can select any of the exam centres mentioned in the instruction sheet. In case there are few candidates who opted for the IAS main exam centre, the UPSC has the discretion to change the exam centre and a lot the nearest exam centre to the candidate. The decision of the Commission will be final.

Candidates need to bring the same Photo ID card as submitted in the application for the IAS prelims exam 2021. The candidates need to show the Photo id card when asked for it. The candidates need to submit the IAS Main exam fee of INR 200 through net banking or through the SBI bank Challan before the submission of the IAS DAF 2021. The βpay be cashβ option will be deactivated on November 30.
