NTSE Andhra Pradesh Application Form 2021 released! According to the official notification released by the Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., Vijayawada as per directions of NCERT, New Delhi, the state is all set to conduct the State Level Talent Search Examination (Stage 1) for the year 2020-21 on December 13, 2020, (Sunday). The examination is conducted to select students from Class 10. National Talent Search Examination (First Level) is conducted by the Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., Vijayawada as per directions of NCERT, New Delhi every year in the month of November along with the NMMS Examination.However, this year, the exam got postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

The exam is conducted at two levels – Stage 1 at the state level and Stage 2 at the national level. Students studying in Class 10 in state government, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyala or any other type of recognised/ affiliated schools situated in Andhra Pradesh can register for NTSE 2021. Students must note that the last date for the submission of completely filled NTSE 2021 Punjab application form is November 6, 2020. According to the reports,
NTSE admit card 2021 will be handed over to the students at least 15 days before the date of the exam.
The official notice stated, "
All students in the state who are studying X Standard in any of the recognized schools can write the examination.
Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for the scholarship, provided the students is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in Class X examination for the first time." The notice further states, "The number of scholarships will be allocated by NCERT every year. The candidates will be selected to the Second Level basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms given by NCERT. 2000 candidates every year are being selected in the Second Level Examination all over the country."
Interested students of Class 10 can collect the
NTSE application form 2021 from the State liaison officer or from their school. Students applying for NTSE 2021 must note that s/he must be securing 55% marks for (SC/ST/Physically Challenged students) and 70% marks (for other categories) in the Class 9 annual examination.

Interested students must note that a
bout 2000 scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:
- 1250 per month for Class 11-12
- 2000 per month for UG and PG level
- As per UGC norms for research level

NTSE 2021 Reservation Criteria
NCERT will award the NTSE scholarships 2021 on the basis of certain reservation criteria which is provided below. However, it is mandatory for candidates to mention their category and attach a copy of the certificate (in case of reserved category only) in the NTSE application form 2021. The result and merit lists will also be prepared on the following reservation criteria:
