CDS (2) 2020 Application Form withdrawal link activated; check details here

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the link to withdraw CDS (2) application form 2020 on September 1. Candidates who wish to withdraw their applications for the exam can do so till 5.30 pm on September 7. Candidates need to withdraw their application form online. To withdraw the application form, candidates need to enter registration ID and date of birth.

How to withdraw CDS 2020 application form?

The steps to withdraw CDS application form are explained below.

• Visit the official website of UPSC
• Read the instructions carefully before filling up the request for withdrawal of the application
• The withdrawal facility is available for candidates who do not want to appear in the exam
• Provide the registration ID and date of birth to withdraw the application form of CDS
• Separate OTPs will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
• Requests for withdrawal will only be processed after validating the OTPs
• Once the request for online withdrawal of the application is accepted, candidates must print the authenticated receipt
• On successful completion of the withdrawal of the application, an auto-generated email and SMS will be sent on the candidate’s registered email id and mobile number

Candidates must note that once candidates have withdrawn the application form, it cannot be revived. The fees will not be refunded to candidates. There is no provision for the withdrawal of incomplete applications.

CDS (2) 2020 application process closed on August 25. Candidates could pay the application fees offline till August 24. Online fee payment could be done till August 25. The application fees were Rs 200 for General and OBC male candidates. Female/SC/ST candidates were exempted from fee payment. CDS (2) 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 8, 2020.
