AFSB Dehradun, Varanasi, Mysore, Gandhinagar have cancelled their AFSB interview due to COVID-19. Read the complete details below. 

AFSB Interview

Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) Dehradun, Mysuru, Gandhinagar and Varanasi has cancelled AFSB Interview following the outbreak of coronavirus. Earlier, the examination authority had activated the link to book AFSB exam date and centre on March 18. However, the link has been disabled now.

AFCAT 1 result 2020 was announced on March 17. Candidates could check their result by logging with email ID, password and captcha code. The result displays the qualifying status of candidates, section-wise marks, overall marks and cutoff marks. Based on AFCAT result 2020, candidates are called for AFSB Interview.

The testing at AFSB of AFCAT comprises three stages as given below:

Stage 1: Officer Intelligence Rating Test along with Picture Perception and discussion test will be conducted on the first day. Stage 1 is a screening test and only those who qualify will be called for subsequent testing.

Stage 2: Psychological test is conducted on the first day afternoon and the Group Tests and Interview will commence after document verification for the next five days.

For Flying Branch: Candidates need to appear in Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).

Documents required for AFSB

Candidates are required to carry the following documents:

  • AFCAT Admit Card
  • Class 10th and 12th Marksheets
  • Original Marks Sheet & Certificate of 10+2
  • Graduation marksheet and certificates
  • Two attested photocopies of each of the above-mentioned certificates
  • Original NCC Certificate (if applicable)
  • NOC from employers for candidates working in Central/ State Govt. or Public Sector Undertakings
  • Original valid Commercial Pilots’ License, issued by DGCA, if applicable
  • Inbound Railway Ticket/ Bus Tickets (For refund of Travelling Allowance)
  • 20 passport-sized photographs
