NDA (I) & (II) 2020 Exams: Govt. makes travel arrangements for candidates
The common NDA (I) and (II) exams are scheduled to be conducted on September 6. Owing to the present situation due to COVID-19, Central and State governments have made necessary travel arrangements for candidates to reach designated exam centres.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct NDA (I) and (II) exams on September 6. There will be a common exam for NDA (I) and (II). Usually this exam is conducted twice a year, but this year due to COVID-19 pandemic NDA I exam could not be conducted. Later, UPSC decided to hold the exams together. Owing to the present situation and lockdown in some parts of the country, centre and state governments have made necessary travel arrangements for candidates to help them reach their designated examination centres without any hassle.
Indian Railways will be offering special trains for NDA in September. It has also extended their support for aspirants for JEE and NEET too. The special trains would run for aspirants of Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. A pair of 8 special intercity trains will run from September 4 to September 15 in Bihar and 4 special trains in Rajasthan and 5 special trains from September 3 to September 30 in UP.
All the seats on these trains will be reserved for students. They need to follow all the COVID-19 safety precautions such as wearing face masks, use of sanitiser, social distancing, etc. Students can go through the train number and other details before boarding it.
Earlier, Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal has tweeted, “Keeping in mind the convenience of the students of Bihar, Railways have decided to run 8 pairs of intercity special trains from September 4 to 15 for the convenience of travelling to JEE Mains, NEET and NDA Examination Centers.”

Similarly, the Mizoram government has arranged transportation for NDA exam candidates. The government has taken an initiative to provide bus services to candidates.
