An important notification regarding allocation of candidates nominated for appointment to various posts through SSC CGL 2017 has been released. Check details below.

SSC CGL 2017: Allocation of posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notice for candidates who have been nominated for appointment to the post of Assistant Audit Officer, Divisional Accountant and Auditor in Indian Audit & Accounts Department (under the Comptroller & Auditor General of India) through SSC CGL 2017. According to the notification released, the allocation of states/offices to all such candidates will be made on the basis of merit cum state preference of candidates.

The commission has released detailed notification in this regard on the official website of Comptroller & Auditor General of India – www.cag.gov.in. The commission has also advised candidates to visit the official website of C&AG and the URL, cag.delhi.nic.in/statechoice for filling up their personal and state preference and attestation form details. The online process for the same will start on the official website of C&AG on December 16, 2019. The last date to fill the online form is January 13, 2020.   

SSC CGL 2017 result was declared on the official website of Staff Selection Commission on November 15. Total 8,120 candidates were provisionally recommended for appointment through SSC CGL 2017 exam. Category-wise breakup of finally selected candidates was as below:
