The total seat intake for the course is 6. Students must pass BTech in a relevant field from a recognised university to get a seat at the college. No, S. Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology  does not give 100% scholarships. Few scholarships are there which are distributed on the basis of economical background and academic background from the college fund. Tamil Nadu government provides scholarships from state scholarship portal. Still there are no provisions for 100% scholarship being given.

Both the university are good for BDS. The main difference lies in the course structure. Kohlan university provides 4-year integrated Bds degree. Whereas Vananchal Dental College provides 5-year with 1-year compulsory intership period.
