As of July 1st of the exam year, candidates must be no older than 30 years old for general candidates and 35 years old for candidates from Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes or Other Backward Classes (according to University of North Bengal and Bar Council of India guidelines). There is no maximum age for students who are foreign nationals.

There is no upper age limit for pursuing UG programmes offered at AKTU but candidates need to be at least 16 years of age as of December 31 of the current academic year to pursue any of these courses.

Candidates are considered eligible for the Andhra Pradesh EdCET exam if they meet the eligibility criteria and have completed 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which the exam notification has been issued. There is no maximum age limit for the exam. Meanwhile, the candidates who passed BE/ BTech with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and studied Mathematics and Physics are eligible for admission into the course.

No, there is no age bar on appearing in IIFT entrance exam. Any candidate with a bachelor's degree from a recognised university having scored a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate can appear for IIFT entrance exam. The minimum score criteria for SC/ST/PwD candidates is 45 per cent aggregate. Final year graduation students can also appear in the exam. The exam is for MBA degree so a fresh graduate as well as a working professionals of junior, middle or senior levels can also appear for the exam. In fact, candidates with work experience are given preference over fresh graduates during the selection rounds. Candidates can appear for the IIFT
