All international students are required to pay 50% of the tuition fee as a deposit, to confirm the seat and receive CAS from Abertay University. The remaining 50% will be paid when the applicants register at Abertay University. This is when any scholarship amount is deducted. Also, note that the online registration opens 2-3 weeks before the classes start.

Given below are Abertay University UK admission requirements for an MSc in Food Quality, Safety and Innovation:
- A Bachelor of Arts / Science / Commerce / Professional subject with a minimum GPA of 2.9 or 55% - 65% in a field related for Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, Agricultural Science or Biological Science is required
