M.Phil (Commerce) is a two-year post-graduation course. M.Phil. i.e. Master of Philosophy is an advanced postgraduate research degree. Yes, you can do Merchant Navy course being a chemical engineering student. Career as a merchant navy can be pursued as an officer in mainly filled like Marine Engineering ( deck).
