To get admission to the MCom programme at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, candidates must obtain a good aggregate or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s degree examination. Admission to the MCom programme at Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is entirely merit based.

Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce BCom admission is made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. The last round percentage cutoffs for the year 2023 for BCom programme for the General All India category was closed at 84.5%. Therefore, it is difficult for the General category candidates to get admission in the BCom programme at Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce at 81%. However, if candidates belong to the reserved category, the cutoffs vary for them.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination in Commerce or Science steam with a minimum of 55% aggregate or equivalent grade or must have passed the Class 12 examination with vocational subjects/ minimum competency based vocational course conducted by the different divisional boards of the Maharashtra state Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education or other equivalent examination in order to apply for admission to the BCom programme.

KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce course admission in all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is based on marks obtained by candidates in qualifying examinations. There is no rquirement to submit any entrance test score by candidates if they want to take admission in any of the programme offered by the college. However, KJSAC PhD admission is entrance based. Candidates who want to take admission in the PhD programme offered at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce must appear for Somaiya Vidyavihar University PhD Entrance Test (SVU-PET) followed by the Personal Interview.

Faculty of common friend with business studies Manav Rachna is an average option for doing M.Com
- Faculty is really good most of them are PhD holder and Research scholars
- Placement percentage is 90% and the median packages 5 Lacs to 8 Lacs per annum percentage maybe good but for post graduation the amount of packages maybe not considered good
- Location maybe not ideal for everyone
Fee structure is relatively costly than other available options
