BBD University admission to each course follows specific admission criteria. The University accepts several national-level entrance exam scores for granting admission to some of the courses whereas admission to remaining programmes is based on the merit of previous qualifying degree/ exam. The session for B.Com (Hons) B.A. And BHM programs commences in April.The fee for each of these courses is INR 40,000 per semester. Eligibility Criteria -Passed Class 12 in Science/ Arts/ Commerce stream from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate.

Patna Women's College is a constituent college of Patna University. It was established in 1940 to impart quality education in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, and Computer Applications at UG and PG levels. It was the first institution of higher learning opened to cater to the educational needs of women in Bihar. At present, Patna Women College offers B.A. B.Sc. B.Com B.A. BCA B.M.C. B.Ed M.A. MCA and PG Diploma courses in various disciplines. Admission to all UG, PG and PG Diploma courses is based on the Patna University Common Entrance Test (PUCET) conducted by the college followed by an Interview and counseling. Final admission confirmation is subject to course-wise merit list and availability of seats. Final admission to B.Ed is subject to counseling conducted by Patna University. There is no entrance exam for M.A. (Home Science) programme. Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in the last qualifying examination.
