It depends on when you are joining this course. Those who pursue CA courses straight after the 12th grade require around five years to complete the programme. The duration of the CA course for those joining after graduation is three years. To become a chartered accountant, one has to clear three levels along with three years of articleship.
- The first level is the CA foundation stage.
- The second level is CA Intermediate.
- The third level is the CA final, consisting of groups one and two. If you fail at any level, you will have to repeat it, which will increase the course duration for you.

1. CA Foundation Course: The total fee is around Rs. 10,900, which includes registration and exam fees.
2. CA Intermediate fee for single group: The total fee, including all other charges, is approximately Rs. 28,200.
3. CA Intermediate Fee for Both Groups: Rs. 34,200
4. Direct Entry to CA Intermediate: Rs. 34,400
5. Fee for three year Articleship training is Rs. 2,000
6. CA Final course fee: Rs. 39,800

The person who registered within March is eligible to appear in December exam of same year. The person who registered after March 31 and within October 31, can appear in June exam of next year.

For ECE rank, 400 there is a chance in both specializations. For CSE rank, 300 fetches you a seat.
