For admission to various courses, including MCom, SMS Varanasi conducts an in-house entrance test, namely, SMSOET. Students who fulfill the eligibility requirements and aspire to take admission must register and appear for the aforementioned exam. As of now, the institute has not released the schedule for the SMSOET 2025 exam. However, the application portal is open. SMS Varanasi MCom curriculum is divided into a semester pattern. Each semester, students have to study core subjects that help them develop a deep understanding of the curriculum. Some of the core subjects included in the curriculum are Organisational Thoery and Bheaviour, Research Methodology, Banking and Financial Institution, Accounting for Planning and Control, etc.
