For admission to various courses, including MCom, SMS Varanasi conducts an in-house entrance test, namely, SMSOET. Students who fulfill the eligibility requirements and aspire to take admission must register and appear for the aforementioned exam. As of now, the institute has not released the schedule for the SMSOET 2025 exam. However, the application portal is open. Interested students must apply in a timely manner to avoid missing out on the application process.

To get into Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women student must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with 55% aggreagte to apply for admission. Further, candidates are required to apply and appear in CUET-UG to  grab the seat.
