No, it's not. If you have studied accounting and finance, you can pursue a CA. Though a Commerce background offers a strong base for this course, people generally consider it the only pathway for CA. But the Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is open to students from many academic backgrounds after completing their 12th.

- Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme: This merit-cum-means-based scholarship is for the economically weaker meritorious students who have at least 60% in Class 12.

The Candidates have to register themselves on the CSAS portal of DU after taking up the CUET examination and fill in their preferences of Maharaja Agrasen College and the Programme BCom, respectively.
