Andhra University offers BCom programme via its affiliated colleges. Therefore, to secure a BCom seat in the university candidates must get admitted to the affiliated colleges. First of all, candidates must qualify for the BCom eligibility criteria which vary across the university-affiliated colleges. Usually, the common eligibility criteria are clearing the higher secondary exam from a recognised board. Eligible candidates can now apply via any one of the BCom colleges that is affiliated with the Andhra University. The common admission process includes a registration process, followed by an application process, and fee payment.

Andhra university Vishakhapatnam, BCom admission process begins with applying for the preferred course. Although, there is no submission of documents required at this stage, but the application form does require essential information such as contact details, marks scored in the qualifying examination, address details. After this stage, candidates are shortlisted based on their merit. The students who qualify the merit list require to carry the following documents on the day of seat alotment:

Filling out the application form for BCom (distance education) at Andhra University started on 6 July 2024. However, the last date to apply for the BCom programme at Andhra University for the academic year 2024-2025 is 31 August 2024. Prospective students must ensure that they complete and submit their online application forms by this date. Additionally, students must keep the following documents handy for a smooth application process: an Aadhaar Card, Class 10 and 12 marksheet, Domicile Certificate, etc.
