The minimum eligibility requirement at ASCI - Administrative Staff College of India for PG Diploma:
Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates are required to qualify in the CAT / XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT or the common entrance examinations conducted by the respective state governments, as per AICTE norms. 15% of seats were reserved for the Armed Forces Personnel and their wards with 5% rebate on the Tuition Fee.

Yes its little expensive with a total fee for a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme typically around INR 8 Lakh
- Hostel fee for residential students is INR 3,00,000/- extra (double occupancy), inclusive of Catering and food provision charges.
- The residential fees is applicable for 18 months when the student is in campus.
- Catering and food charges for non residential students will be charged extra and is optional.
- All fees are non-refundable.

No, you cannot join the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) for a PG Diploma without taking the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) as it is one of the accepted entrance exams for admission, along with CAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA. You need to qualify in at least one of these exams to be eligible for admission to their PG Diploma programs.
