The JET exam for B.Tech is of 150 marks having 5 subjects- Physics (30), Chemistry (30), Mathematics (30), LR (30), English (30). Time is 3 hours in online mode.
The cut off for JET B.Tech is released rank wise and the result can be accessed by the official sites. The cut off varies from course to course because of the seats available and the applicants for the course received.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 2568 and closing rank was 2694. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1241 and 4647. Admission to B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kharagpur other than General category are - 2297 for OBC, 1388 for SC, 748 for ST, 1032 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For 2023, cut off was 4976 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 9449 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
