The next five years hold a strong future of Aerospace Engineering; rising air traffic, need of sustainable aviation (e.g. electric/hybrid propulsion, biofuels), growth of autonomous flight systems (drones, AI) and continued space missions. No, Aerospace Engineering Branch is not available in Shri Ramdevbaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur. The college mainly offers various branches in engineering and management, but aerospace engineering is not included in their list.

There is only one college apart IIT or NIT which offers this course in government college i.e, Nalanda College of Engineering. I can guarantee you can get admission there easily if you are Bihar.

90 percentile is likely insufficient for Aerospace at NITs or IITs, but good alternatives include KIIT University and SRM Institute, which offer dedicated Aerospace programs. You may also explore state or private colleges with related disciplines like Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering, often accessible via slightly lower rankings or their own exams.

Good college rankings undoubtedly are synonymous with better networking opportunities, exposure, faculty expertise, and placements. A strong college ranking is an extremely important parameter that you must consider for admission to the BTech Aerospace Engineering course. It should not be the only one though.

However, you must research well and see if the programme offered by the college aligns well with your interests, there are good career opportunities coming your way, the college location is comfortable, and the course fees fit well within your financial budget.

New subjects are added to the syllabus structure for the BTech Aerospace Engineering course at various colleges to make sure the students learn the right set of skills and knowledge needed to excel in the aerospace industry. While the core subject modules are generally similar there are new programme electives or specialised subject modules introduced in the syllabus to meet the industry demands and technological advancements taking place every day.
