Aerospace engineering at Chandigarh University offers subjects in aerodynamics, propulsion, aircraft design among others. Students are taught in well-equipped labs like flight simulator, aeromodelling lab, propulsion lab while there is also provision made in observatory study of the sky. The programme offers the scope to choose specializations like avionics, aircraft maintenance and even rockets.

The university has linkages to courses offered by ISRO whereby training certificates are to be given under ISRO expertise. With AI as a minor subject, learners get extra edge on this new technology. Teachers from IITs, NITs and industry s

Aerospace Engineering is worth accomplishing. Customized labs have been provided by the university. Quite practical everywhere, actually. Flight Simulation Lab is a lab well-equipped with systems controlling high-tech operations along with a Wind Tunnel Lab, which is at the same time an ideal testing ground. There are CFD labs for propulsion studies. These very specialised and highly effective labs act as a de facto-instrument in students' learning challenges, precisely in the engineering fields. The projects as discussed and model constructions are given equal importance. The entire course covers core areas like avionics, aircraft str

Chandigarh University (CU) has very good placement claims for its Aerospace Engineering branch with a claim of 100% placements with companies such as Tata Advanced Systems, DRDO, ISRO, HAL, and Boeing coming to the campus. Some portals mention a 20% placement rate for Aerospace Engineering with a the highest package of 15 LPA, whereas some talk highly about the strong industry relationships the university has developed with many aerospace and government organizations for internship possibilities. It is practically-based with strong hands-on and experimental training in specialised labs.  Major organizations and companies that recr
