The time required to prepare for the BTech Agricultural Engineering entrance exam cannot be said with any certainty, but you should start preparing at least 8 to 10 months before the exam is tentatively scheduled to take place so that you have enough time to cover the entire exam syllabus, at least all the high-weightage exam topics, practice last year's question papers, and have enough time for revision.

There are about 60 seats available for the Agriculture Engineering specialisation at GBPUAT. The department of Agriculture Engineering is further divide into 4 courses. They include Farm Machinery and Power Egineering, Irrgation and Drainage Engineering, Post-Harvest Process Food and Engineering, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering.

No, graduates from Diploma in Agriculture Engineering cannot gain direct entry to B.Tech CSE based on Andhra Pradesh ECET (AP ECET). Andhra Pradesh ECET admits Diploma holders on a lateral basis (second year direct admission) into B.Tech courses but only up to related branches of engineering.
