Here are the general eligibility criteria for admission to the best Agricultural universities in India:

UG Level:

  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board with an aggregate of 50%-60%. The qualifying examination should have included subjects such as Physics,  Chemistry, and Biology/Agriculture.

PG Level:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% to 60%.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with agriculture or Science (PCM/PCB/PCMB/Biotechnology) with min 55% marks. This clarifies that both PCM & PCB students are eligible for agriculture.

You can go for completing admission process for admission in Agriculture even after passing of 12th in Science stream (PCB). Please apply for admission in G. B. Yes, you are eligible to take the Agricultural Officer Entrance Exam while pursuing your Bachelor's degree. (Agriculture) MBA (General). The eligibility criteria for the exam include:

Minimum age 21 and maximum age 30

Graduate from any discipline including B.Sc. (Agriculture)5-year integrated undergraduate program.
