It largely depends on your field preference. If your interest is animal care, you can go for veterinary courses; otherwise, agriculture is better. A graduate in agriculture has more options than a veterinary graduate. After doing a B.Sc. (hons) in agriculture, you can apply to banking and research jobs such as IBPS AFO. You can also take management courses to do agribusiness and become an entrepreneur. You can explore courses in horticulture and organic farming to become a specialist. However, a veterinary graduate also has some good options. For instance, you can do MVSC to open your own clinic, or you can join the Remount Veterinary Corps of the Indian Army or become a researcher. Therefore, both courses are individually good.

You have two options after completing a B.Sc. In agriculture: either apply for a job or go for higher studies. Most of the students prefer to go for higher studies in a specialised field. This is because the research field has more opportunities in agriculture as per market trends. The career scope after a four-year degree programme in B.Sc. Agriculture is as follows:
1. You can apply for the IBPS Agriculture Fields Officer post.
2. You can apply for specialist jobs at NABARD IFFCO, and FCI. You will have to pass an entrance exam to get a job at these companies.

7. Social forestry officer
Your salary will depend on your job, but in general, you can earn up to Rs. 45,000 per month as an agriculture graduate.

Agriculture involves the study of scientific methods to improve agricultural productivity and agribusiness. If you want to do an agriculture-related course after the 12th grade, you can get a Diploma or degree in agriculture. You can pursue the following agriculture courses:
