Usually students prefer food technology against biotechnology, but still it depends upon the students interest and knowledge towards any of the field that he is interested. So if we talk about the placement at KAU then it is very good in both the cases, as the students hustle for their goals, so the placement cell arrange the recruiters accordingly. As it has a good record for placement so the university always seek the better opportunity on behalf of their students.
So set your goal and do hard works in both theoretical and practical studies. So that you can find yourself in a better company as you want to be.

Applicants who fill the form will be eligible to appear in the exam by June 2026, tentatively. The authorities will release the answer key of MCAER PG CET on the first week of June 2026, abd the MCAER results 2026 is expected to be declared in the mid of June, 2026.

The Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) is likely to announce the notification for the MCAER PG CET exam 2026 in online mode. Applicants can fill out the application form from the same date only.
Only those applicants who filled the form will be able to appear in the exam between in the month of June 2026, tentatively The exam will likely to be held for three days in two shifts between 10:00 to 12:00 AM and 15:00 to 17:00 PM.

Students from 7th sem become eligible for placements. Companies such as tata, tisco, tcs etc., come for placements and take the students in bulk. The highest package offered was INR 18 LPA and average is INR 5 lpa. Almost 75 to 80 percentage of students get placement.
