Admission deadlines and procedures can vary from year to year and from institution to institution.

If you're considering joining the B.Sc Agriculture programme at SOA after the mid of June 2024, it's best to directly contact the admissions office or visit the official website of SOA to inquire about their admission policies and any possible provisions for late admissions or mid-year intake. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding admission deadlines and procedures for the academic year in question.

You want to compare SHUATS and Quantum School of Agricultural Studies, two universities that offer agricultural programs in India. SHUATS has a longer history, more variety of programs, and a focus on research and extension, but a lower NIRF ranking and limited online reviews. Quantum has a higher NIRF ranking, modern facilities, and industry collaborations, but limited programme offerings and a shorter reputation. You should also consider the location, fees, scholarships, and your specific interests of each university. To make the best decision, you should visit their websites, attend information sessions, talk to students and alumni,

TNAU does not have an entrance exam. Applicants who have studied in regular, full-time, and formal education are eligible to apply. If you are a native of Tamil Nadu, you can apply for counseling on the TNAU official website after the board exam results.

To be eligible for a B.Tech in agricultural engineering, students must:
  • Have qualified their 12th board examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)
  • Have cleared their 12th from a recognised board
  • Have secured a minimum of 50% in their 12th board examination

Yes, you can easily get admission into Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for B.Tech with 70% in TNEA. TNEA's full mark is 300 and scoring 210, which is 70% of 300, is sufficient enough to get admission. Last year's cut-off released by TNAU was 190-180 for the General category, 190-170 for BC, and 165 for the SC category. Although, the exact cut-off can differ depending on the average score that year.
