With 342 marks in NEET and belonging to the SC category, your chances of getting a seat at AIIMS Jodhpur are slim, as the cutoff for AIIMS is often significantly higher, even for reserved categories. However, you may have a higher chance of admission to other government or private medical colleges through the state quota or All India Quota (AIQ) seats reserved for SC applicants. The particular chances are determined by the annual cutoffs, which can fluctuate.

AIIMS Jodhpur is a government institute which was established in 2012. The course fee for this government college is not very high. Being a government college the facilities are many but the fee for the entire MBBS and other PG, Nursing, and various other courses is nominal. The benefit of studying in this government college is first less fee and the other is more experience.

AIIMS Jodhpur is a government institute while Jyoti Rao Phoole University is a private institute. The fee for Jyoti Rao Phoole University is more expensive than the fee for courses offered at AIIMS Jodhpur. The hospital attached with AIIMS Jodhpur is government, hence the treatment is given at low rate as compared with hospital attached with Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University. Which is better depends on what the person is actually looking in a college or a university.
