AIIMS Mangalagiri Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for admission to the MBBS programme at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Mangalagiri, as of my last update in January 2022, include the following:

1. Nationality: Indian citizens, as well as overseas citizens of India (OCIs), are eligible to apply.

2. Age: The minimum age limit is 17 years as of December 31st of the year of admission. The maximum age limit is 25 years for general category candidates. There are relaxations in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per government norms.

3. Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects. General and OBC candidates need a minimum aggregate of 60% in the subjects mentioned, while SC/ST/OPH candidates require 50%.

4. Exam: As per previous practices, admission to AIIMS MBBS courses is done through the AIIMS Entrance Examination. Candidates need to qualify in this national-level entrance test to secure admission to AIIMS institutes across India, including AIIMS Mangalagiri.
