On Highlights

Q:   What makes AIIMs Mangalagiri different from others?

A:

AIIM's Mangalagiri, or All India Institute of Medical Sciences Mangalagiri, is a medical institution that is part of the AIIMS network in India. While specific details may vary, AIIMS Mangalagiri is generally unique due to its location, infrastructure, faculty, and the healthcare services it provides. It may have its own set of specialties, research focus, and community engagement initiatives that distinguish it from other AIIMS institutions. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend checking the official AIIMS Mangalagiri website or contacting the institution directly.

Q:   Which factors should be considered while deciding the best campus of AIIMs Mangalagiri to pursue MBBS?

A:

When choosing the best campus for pursuing MBBS at AIIMS Mangalagiri, consider factors such as faculty expertise, infrastructure, clinical exposure, research opportunities, campus facilities, hostel accommodation, and the overall academic environment. Additionally, assess the reputation of the campus, its location, and the hospital associated with it. Visiting the campus, interacting with current students, and researching alumni achievements can provide valuable insights into the quality of education and overall experience offered.

Q:   Is MBBS at AIIMs Mangalagiri better than AIIMs Delhi?

A:

AIIMS Mangalagiri and AIIMS Delhi are prestigious institutions known for their excellence in medical education and healthcare.

AIIMS Delhi, being the pioneer and one of the oldest AIIMS institutes, has a long-established history, experienced faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a rich legacy. It offers a vast array of opportunities for clinical exposure, research, and learning experiences due to its extensive resources and renowned faculty members.

On the other hand, AIIMS Mangalagiri, being a newer AIIMS institute, might have some advantages like modern infrastructure, updated facilities, and a potentially more personalized learning environment due to smaller batch sizes and newer teaching methodologies.

Factors to consider when comparing the two could include:

  1. Faculty and Resources: AIIMS Delhi, due to its long-standing presence, might have a larger and more experienced faculty base and extensive resources compared to AIIMS Mangalagiri.

  2. Clinical Exposure: AIIMS Delhi, being in the national capital, has a diverse patient pool and numerous hospitals, providing excellent clinical exposure. AIIMS Mangalagiri, being a newer institute, might be gradually developing these aspects.

  3. Infrastructure: AIIMS Delhi has well-established infrastructure and facilities developed over the years, while AIIMS Mangalagiri might have more modern facilities and infrastructure due to being a newer institute.

  4. Opportunities for Research: Both institutes offer research opportunities, but AIIMS Delhi, with its extensive experience and resources, might have a broader spectrum of research avenues.

  5. Location and Environment: The location and surrounding environment could differ significantly between the two institutes, affecting aspects like student life and extracurricular opportunities.

Q:   How can I get admission in MBBS at AIIMS, Mangalagiri?

A:

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS in AIIMS Mangalagiri need to apply for NEET-UG. Admission to the UG course is based on merit in this national-level exam. Candidates need not apply separately for the institute. Moreover, to apply for NEET 2023, aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria can register on its official website (neet.nta.nic.in).

Q:   What is the stipend given to MBBS students in AIIMS Mangalagiri?

A:

In case of a non-compliance, the candidate has to pay a penalty amount as per the compulsory service bond. Further, AIIMS Mangalagiri offer a stipend of INR 26,300. Other: I opted for this because my dream is to become a doctor. In our college, events and fests are being organised by students. The campus surroundings are beautiful with mountains. The auditorium is recently opened. The campus is not much populated as it is a new college. Restaurants near the college are good. There are some interesting places to explore near Mangala Giri and Vijayawada.
