Yes, AIIMS Bibinagar does follow seat reservation for the MBBS course. AIIMS institutions are filled through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and are subject to reservation policies that include 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 15% for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), with an additional 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD).

For admission to the MBBS programme at AIIMS Bibinagar, candidates are required to submit several documents that can prove their identity, domicile, academic qualification and other various factors that are important for admission to MBBS courses at AIIMS Bibinagar. The important documents are as follows:

  • Class 12 mark sheets
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Identity Proof
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport-sized photographs
  •  NEET Scorecard

All documents must be valid and presented during the counselling stage for verification before final admission.

To apply for the MBBS course at AIIMS Bibinagar, applicants must register for NEET UG first, with the application for AIIMS Bibinagar itself being part of the Medical Counselling Committee's seat allocation process after NEET results are declared. Further, the AIIMS Bibinahar opens its application portal in the month of July, and the academic batch starts in the month of September/ October.

AIIMS Bibinagar offers MSc specialisations in the field of Nursing. Moreover, in Nursing, the institute only offers four specialisations. The eligibility requirement and admission process in any of the specialisation is almost similar. The names of the offered specialisations are as follows:

  • MSc in Community Health Nursing
  • MSc in Psychiatric Nursing
  • Medical Surgical Nursing (Neuroscience Nursing)

The eligibility requirements and admission process at both institutes, AIIMS Bibinagar and AIIMS Bhubaneswar, are almost the same. Moreover, the accepted entrance exam is also the same. Both institutes follow the rules and regulations according to AIIMS Delhi. However, applicants can compare both institutions based on their cutoffs:

Yes, the AIIMS MSc Nursing Entrance exam is compulsory for admission to the MSc programme at AIIMS Hyderabad. Candidates must qualify in this exam and hold a valid scorecard to proceed to the counselling stage. Without clearing this exam, students will not be considered for seat allocation in any MSc specialisation at the institute. Moreover, as one of the recognised AIIMS of India, the Hyderabad college is not allowed to take any sort of direct admission to MSc courses.

For the academic year 2025, the examination has been conducted in June for admission to the MSc course at AIIMS Bibinagar. Further, every year the examination is usually held in the month of June. Thus, it is expected that for the academic year 2026 the examination dates will fall in a similar bracket.
