AIL LET

The AIL LET Exam is not that tough as compared to other national law entrance exams in the country. But the difficulty level totally depends on how well you have prepared for the exam.

The AIL LET Answer Key is the official document released by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali shortly after the entrance exam, providing the correct responses to the 200 objective-type questions. It allows candidates to calculate their estimated scores for B.A. LLB and B.Com LLB admissions, released in two stages: provisional and final.

Candidates must understand that the CLAT Exam is for admission to NLUs and it is national level competitve exam. But AIL LET Exam is for one specific college. It is completly a personal choice to choose.

As per the trend, 1,000 to 1,200 candidates apply for the AIL LET exam annually. With around 950 to 1,050 candidates appearing for the test to compete for 80–100 seats in the BA LB program.

Preparing for the AIL LET exam requires a structured approach focusing on four equal-weightage sections: Legal Aptitude, General English, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, and Mental Ability. Key strategies include daily newspaper reading for GK, practicing logical reasoning puzzles, mastering grammar basics, and taking regular mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. 

The AIL LET 2026 exam is conducted by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali, at32+ centers across India, including cities like Delhi, Chandigarh/Mohali, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Candidates can choose upto three options. 

AIL LET question paper contains 200 multiple choice-based questions. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions and wrong answers. There are four sections in the exam question paper. These sections with section-wise weightage are listed below: 

The AIL LET Application Process has not started yet. It is likely to start in March. All the details will be announced in the AIL LET Notification. 

The AIL LET Exam is comparatively easier than the CLAT. While CLAT is held for NLUs, the AIL LET Exam is only for Army Institute of Law. Hence, the competition and difficutly level is bit less.
