The AIL LET Exam is not that tough as compared to other national law entrance exams in the country. But the difficulty level totally depends on how well you have prepared for the exam.

Candidates must understand that the CLAT Exam is for admission to NLUs and it is national level competitve exam. But AIL LET Exam is for one specific college. It is completly a personal choice to choose.

As per the trend, 1,000 to 1,200 candidates apply for the AIL LET exam annually. With around 950 to 1,050 candidates appearing for the test to compete for 80–100 seats in the BA LB program.

AIL LET question paper contains 200 multiple choice-based questions. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no deduction of marks for unattempted questions and wrong answers. There are four sections in the exam question paper. These sections with section-wise weightage are listed below:

The AIL LET Exam is comparatively easier than the CLAT. While CLAT is held for NLUs, the AIL LET Exam is only for Army Institute of Law. Hence, the competition and difficutly level is bit less.
