Students upto 26 years age and unmarried are normally accepted for training as air hostess / stewards. There are many institutes other than Frankfinn offering this course. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information on this issue.

It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in becoming a cabin crew. Basic eligibility is 12th in any stream. As Diploma in engineering is considered as equivalent tov 12th by many states you can definitely join the training to become cabin crew. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information on this topic. https://www.shiksha.com/aviation/cabin-crew-air-hostess-chp
Best wishes to you.

I am afraid that only those holding Indian Passports or are eligible to obtain one are only eligible to work as an air hostess in Air India or Indian Airlines.

Institutes like these wouldn't make much of a difference while you apply for an airline.
Every airline has their own training, and they don't care or give any additional priority if you have been in one of these institutes. Airlines have about 4-7 weeks rigorous training, with highly qualified instructors.
It's simply a lot of money for no good reason, the hype around these institutions are simply ridiculous.
You rather focus on being the perfect candidate for the job, and this can absolutely be done at home. We have the Internet to get all the information in the universe that we need, and trust me,
