Air Traffic Controllers monitor and direct the movement of air traffic in and around airports and en route on specified paths directing the planes to stay safe distances from each other. Following are the options to become Air Traffic Controller in India:
(a) Join Indian Air Force Administration branch. Candidates with graduation degree (minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent are eligible to become Admin Officer in IAF. For civilian ATC controller, you need M.Sc or B.Tech.

To become ATC controller in IAF (or a Fighter controller), you have to write AFCAT exam with B.Sc or B.Tech and join admin branch initially and then try for ATC / FC.
