The cut-offs may vary from year to year also, most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Hi Hrishikesh,
A course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is not a degree but a license course and only those institutes approved by the DGCA can impart training in this subject.
This training course is rigorous and only a few institutes offer training on heavy aircraft and jet engines.
-> Eligibility :
A student from the Science stream with a minimum of 50% (some institutes need 60%) in class 12th is eligible for a 3 year certificate course on aircraft maintenance engineering conducted by training schools approved by the DGCA.

Dear Gagan, After passing out from AME school students have to do a mandatory one year training on type of aircraft in an airline or aircraft operator. During this period getting training on aircraft is more important than salary. Salaries in this year are not very high. Basically you are getting trained. Once you have done that and have qualified examinations then you may be trained for weekly or transit check as per the airline policy. Once you have received certification authority , typically you may get paid about 30-50K depending upon level of your certification.
