Aircraft Maintenance Engineering mechanical Stream is related to Heavy aircraft(HA), Light Aircraft(LA) and Jet Engine(CT), Piston Engine(CP). This is of 3 years course divided into 6 Semesters. AME Course consists of theoretical and practical training. The intake capacity of a student is 60 in a particular stream in a year.

For enrollment in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course at IIAS, Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (or its equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
The applicants age at the time of admission in this course should not be less than 17 years. The upper age limit is 24 years and is relaxable if sponsored by Aviation Industry.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made according to the Merit List on the basis of the performance in the entrance test taken by IIAS authority. Once in a year the test will be taken.

On one hand you are saying that you have completed A.M.E. And then you are saying that you have not cleared one paper. Okay. The institute from where you did your A.M.E. Is well placed to help you in your desire. I would advise you to approach the placement cell for best results.

The aircraft maintenance engineering is not a degree or a Diploma course, but a training programme. On completion of the training, a licence is issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). During the training, lessons are imparted for service and maintenance of aircraft so as to ensure flight safety.
