The present Entrance exams accepted by AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) to get admission in its undergraduate Engineering (B.Tech) programs are:
JEE Main: It is the foremost and compulsory entry test to access B.Tech in government as well as in self-financing colleges in AKTU. In 2022 AKTU abolished its own engineering entrance test (earlier named UPSEE/UPCET) and has since been using JEE Main to fill in B.Tech aspirants.
If you want to seek B.Tech admission to any college that is affiliated to AKTU, you will have to take JEE Main followed by the AKTU/UPTAC counselling on the basis of your JEE Main rank. CUET score is a

Yes, lateral entry into the second year of B.Tech programme is possible in some aktu Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and other Delhi NCR college but it's typically for Diploma holders not for student already pursuing a BTech if you are currently in the first year of a B.Tech programme you may be able to transfer to another college but not through lateral entry.

No. Candidates DO NOT need to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of online UPTAC application form to the University. However, the candidate should keep the printout of the Confirmation page for record. Candidates are also advised to note down the Application Form Number for any future correspondence.

Yes, AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) has officially introduced a B.Tech CSE (Hindi-medium) option. Lectures and books are in hindi only.
