BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BTech curriculum is common for all BTech specialisations in first year. Students need to choose a professional elective during the course. Below are some of the electives available to BTech CSE students:

BTech is the flagship course of MNNIT Allahabad. It has been ranked by NIRF and other ranking agencies. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad BTech ranking 2023 has also improved, from 47 out of 300 colleges in 2022 to 49 out of 200 colleges in 2023. The Outlook 2023 also ranked MNNIT Allahabad 13 under the BTech category.
