No, there is no direct admission process for undergraduate (BTech) or postgraduate (MTech, MSc, MCA, MBA) programs at MNNIT Allahabad. Students are selected for admission based on their performance in national level entrance exams.
- BTech: Admission through JEE Main followed by counselling through JoSAA.
- MTech: based on GATE score followed by counselling through CCMT. There might be some exceptions for sponsored seats or part-time programs.
- MSc: through JAM (Joint Admission Test for MSc) followed by counselling through CCMN.
- MCA: based on NIMCET score followed by individual institute counselling.
- MBA: Admission through national level managem

The seat intake for a two-year MBA course is 77 and 30 for three-year Executive MBA course. At the time of admission, seat allotment is carried out as per the seat capacity for each course. NIT Allahabad reserved the right to revise the seat intake. This seat intake is as per data collected from unofficial sources and hence may vary.

NIT Allahabad offers two-year MBA course across four specialisations. All the courses are offered in full-time mode. These are Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and Operations & System Management. Admission to all the programmes is through CAT.
